Location plays a major role in ensuring the safety and functionality of your outdoor fire pit, so keep the following tips in mind:
Away from structures and overhangs: Your fire pit should be several feet away from your home, shed, garage, wooden deck, or any other structures to prevent possible fire hazards. Also, avoid setting it up under overhangs, trees, or anything else that could potentially catch fire.
