The Outdoor Chef BBQ Academy offers students the opportunity to experience and taste the Weber way of barbecue cooking.
Students will be shown the advantages of hood down cooking on the WeberQ and Genesis gas cookers. The course will cover basics from roasting a whole chicken in the Weber FamilyQ to setting up and roasting a beautiful crackled pork loin on the Weber Genesis Rotisserie. Our academy staff will also discuss the benefits of direct and indirect grilling by reverse searing thick rib eye steaks and how adding a little fruit or nut wood smoke to your barbecue can take your food to another level. We will even show you how to raise the bar on a good old Aussie sausage in a bun.
Our course will conclude with some tasty smoked desserts and students will be given a goodie bag complete with discount vouchers, rubs, stubby holders and resource cards with reference to great recipes as well as cooking methods and temperatures.
